Company History – Amusement Advantage was formed in 1996 by Scot and Christine Carson. It is a company born of years of amusement park management, customer service, and market research experience. As a result of their interest and enthusiasm for the amusement industry, Scot and Chris applied their experience and talents to create a market research organization to fill this market niche. While in college Scot and Chris provided insight for a variety of companies as contractors themselves. After gaining 4 years of park operations leadership experience at Elitch Gardens Amusement Park, Scot saw an opportunity to help attractions measure what their guests were experiencing. This vision initially resulted in work with amusement parks on a seasonal basis while Scot also pursued opportunities in call center operations and management for 5 years. Over time Scot realized there was an opportunity to work with year-round attractions as well and the business grew to become a full-time year-round enterprise. This shift to a more balanced business model has also given the company the opportunity to invest in more advanced technologies and explore additional value-added product offerings. Amusement Advantage has emerged as the leading mystery shopping provider to the attractions industry. Amusement Advantage is based in Arvada, Colorado but has accounts and mystery shoppers throughout the US and Canada.
